Soda Pack plans at a glance
Soda Packs are prepaid benefit packages priced per member, per year. The pack value is higher than what you pay upfront — so your team gets more healthcare value than the amount you spend.

How to estimate your total cost
Before you sign up, you can see your full annual cost upfront:
- Choose a plan (300, 500, or 800)
- Enter your number of members
- View your annual total — one invoice, paid once, with no additional pack cost
Example: 5 members on Soda 300 = $1,400/year (promotional price) instead of $1,500.
There are no hidden fees within the pack itself. Medical utilisation is drawn from your team's pack credits.
How Soda Packs work
Credits designed around people, not calendars
Most benefit plans reset every calendar year. Soda Packs are designed around how your team actually uses healthcare:
- Unused credits roll over year to year, valid for up to 3 years
- Run out early? Top up — the same pack can last 18 months for one person and be fully used in 6 months for another
- Heavy usage year? Use credits when you need them; save them when you don't
You give more than you spend
Soda Packs are intentionally priced so your team receives more healthcare value than the upfront amount you pay. The larger the pack, the greater the savings.
Getting started is straightforward:
- Add employee and dependent details in minutes
- Upload member data in bulk — no manual data entry
- Instantly assign the right plan to the right people
What happens to unused budget?
If you renew with Soda
Whatever your team doesn't spend by year-end does not disappear. Unused balance carries forward automatically and is applied as credit against your next policy year's invoices — no paperwork or refund request needed.
This gives you a buffer year over year: a quiet year isn't wasted money, it's a head start on the next one.
If you decide not to renew
We refund the unused balance in cash. Refunds only apply when you're leaving Soda.
Headcount changes: joiners and leavers
Soda doesn't lock you into a fixed headcount. We true up twice a year, so you only pay for who's actually on the plan.
When someone leaves
- No mid-year cash refund for terminations
- Their unused benefit feeds your year-end balance, which carries forward
- No charge-back or claw-back — nothing extra to reconcile
When someone joins
| Join timing | What you're billed | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| First 6 months of the policy year | Full annual pack benefit | Same coverage as everyone else for the rest of the policy year |
| Last 6 months of the policy year | Half the annual pack benefit | Same coverage, fairly priced for the shorter window |
Soda Packs vs Standard plans
The pricing page offers two options:
- Soda Packs — prepaid annual packages with rollover credits (Soda 300, 500, 800, Custom)
- Standard plans — month-to-month plans including Soda Starter, Soda Plus, Soda Flex, and Soda Pro
| Plan | Platform fee | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Soda Starter | $0/employee/month | Panel clinic coverage (2,000+ clinics), cashless payment, outpatient services. Pay-per-use medical costs. |
| Soda Plus | $2/employee/month | Everything in Starter, plus non-panel clinic coverage, claim submission support, and flexible benefits platform. |
| Soda Flex | $4/employee/month | Customisable benefits beyond medical coverage. |
| Soda Pro | Contact us | Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient benefits. |
Standard plans bill monthly for actual medical services used. A refundable security deposit (typically 2 months of estimated utilisation) is required at activation.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum number of employees?
No. Soda works for companies of any size — from 1 employee to hundreds. There are no group discounts or size-based pricing; everyone gets the same transparent rates.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees on Soda Packs. For Standard plans, a platform fee applies based on plan tier and employee count. Medical costs on Standard plans are pay-per-use based on actual utilisation.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Plus on Standard plans at any time. New features and platform fees take effect immediately. Soda Standard plans operate month-to-month with no long-term contract.
How does billing work on Standard plans?
You receive monthly invoices at the end of each month covering only the medical services used that month. Platform fees (on Plus or higher) are included in the monthly invoice.
What is the refundable security deposit?
Required when you activate a Standard plan policy. It's fully refundable when you terminate and typically equals 2 months of estimated utilisation.
What's the difference between Soda Packs and Standard plans?
Soda Packs are prepaid annual packages with rollover credits and upfront pricing. Standard plans are month-to-month with pay-per-use medical billing and a monthly platform fee.
