Audience: HR administrators and people managers at Soda client companies

The Soda HR Portal is your web-based command centre for employee benefits. Use it to manage your team’s membership, view plan coverage, submit claims on behalf of employees, and monitor healthcare utilisation — without emailing spreadsheets back and forth.
What you can do in the HR Portal

Not every company sees every menu item. What appears in your sidebar depends on your Soda plan (Starter, Plus, Flex, Pro, or Soda Pack tier) and your portal permissions.
Log in
- Go to your company’s HR Portal URL (provided in your Soda welcome email).
- Enter the email address and password for your HR admin account.
- If this is your first login, you may be guided through an onboarding checklist on the dashboard — complete these steps to activate coverage for your team.
Reset your password
- On the login page, select Forgot password.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Follow the link in the email to set a new password.
- Return to the portal and sign in.
If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check spam or contact Soda support.
Navigate the portal
The left sidebar is your main navigation, grouped into sections:
- Dashboard — your utilisation overview and quick actions
- People — searchable directory of employees and dependants
- Plan — your company’s health and flex plans
- Company Profile — organisation details, billing, and invoices
- Make Claim — submit a new claim
- Open Claims — panel and non-panel claims in progress
- Claims History — past submissions and outcomes
- Claims Analytics — reporting on volumes, TAT, and ageing
- Panel — how employees use panel clinics
- Healthcare Utilisation — diagnosis and disease cost trends
- Leave Utilisation — MC and productivity insights
Click your name (top right) to access Profile details and Change password.
Your dashboard
When you log in, the dashboard shows:
- Health plan utilisation overview — active employees, employees, and dependant counts, plus claims and spending summaries.
- Quick action cards — shortcuts to manage your plans and update your employees.
- Onboarding tasks — on first login, steps to complete before your policy is fully active.
Typical first-week workflow

Plan and permission differences
Starter companies typically have panel coverage and core member management. Plus and above add non-panel claim submission and richer analytics. Soda Packs (300 / 500 / 800) and Pro may include advanced utilisation reports.
If you expect a feature but cannot see it:
- Check your plan tier on the Soda pricing page or your contract.
- Confirm your user has the correct HR admin role.
- Contact Soda support with your company name and the menu item you need.
